Majority of women working with Joyful Women Organization are involved in agribusinesses.Such businesses require strong marketing component to thrive. Thus a strong marketing pillar is needed for the success of JOYWO’s livelihood program portfolio.Marketing department started its operations on 1st February 2014 and is currently co-ordinating its activities from the Head Quarters.Core principle is in line with the organization’s objective:-access to market for products from our livelihood projects.
- To support access to markets for products and produce from woman’s livelihood projects.
- To support the growth of small scale livelihood projects by women into large scale enterprises.
The goals and guidelines set by the marketing department are by design, in line with the vision and mission of the organization – Empowering women to participate fully in economic life across all the sectors essential to build stronger economies for development and sustainability, and improve quality of life for women, men, families and communities. In the marketing department we have adopted a member – registration approach,where members fills a form indicating their products and when they are due for sale. This helps the department to plan itself fully to provide ready market for the members.
We have successfully tapped markets for horticultural and Poultry Products such as
